Part-Seasoned Logs

Save some money and season your own logs! Our part-seasoned logs are all from locally-sourced sustainably managed woodlands. These logs are typically around 35% moisture content so should not be burnt just yet. Store them ideally where the sun and the wind can bring the moisture content down over a few months to below 25% before you burn them.

Our part-seasoned logs are available from April to August.

We’re different! We take a lot of time and trouble to split our firewood to a consistent maximum length. Different types of wood take different lengths of time to dry out, that’s why we keep hardwood and oak logs separate so you’ll be getting logs of a consistent moisture content in each delivery.
