Birch is a very popular firewood. These Kiln dried Birch logs will fit in the vast majority of woodburners and grates. They’re very dry so will be easy to get going but they’re also hardwood so won’t burn through too quickly. All our timber is legally felled from sustainably managed woodlands. And they’re  Woodsure accredited “Ready to Burn” . Simple.

These kiln-dried hardwood hardwood logs will work well for any fire and wood stove. They have a guaranteed low moisture content and are small enough to fit 99% of stoves. Great for those who don’t want to spend ages researching different log types!

Not only are these logs very cost effective, with a typical moisture content of 15% and are guaranteed to have an average maximum moisture content of 20%, they have been independently inspected and verified by Woodsure to meet their standards for their “Ready to Burn” accreditation.

The lower the moisture content of your firewood, the more heat is produced as less energy is used to evaporate any remaining moisture. This means more heat for your room with less smoke and steam going up the chimney.

All our kiln-dried Birch logs are 10″ / 25cm long.

IMPORTANT NOTE: when packed neatly in nets or stacked in your log store, the logs will take up approximately 1/3 less space than a pile of jumbled loose logs.
